About me

I am a sales leader with more than 20 years of experience and a global mindset.

I studied and worked in Romania, Spain, United Kingdom, and the Netherlands and with my work I travelled all over Europe, North America, Australia, and Asia.

I am a self-development nerd and I enjoy discovering more insights about myself. Last year I repeated the StrengthsFinder assessment (by Gallup) and these were my top 5 themes:

1. Strategic

2. Learner

3. Intellection

4. Empathy

5. Responsibility

My colleagues and team often describe me as open, connector, self-starter, can-do attitude, high sense of responsibility and capacity to deal with complex problems. 

In 2017 I dealt with some tragic losses that got me to take a step back and reassess my life and work. That is when I really started to think about moving away from the corporate world - so I founded two businesses, that serve two of my main passions: sales and helping women who work in sales.

 

  1. Your Enablement Strategy - focuses on helping organizations create tailored strategies, tools, and techniques to enable the success of their sales teams. 

  2. Women in Sales and Leadership helps female professionals differentiate themselves by harnessing their talents through women-centric training, coaching and networking.

I am also the host of Women in Sales and Leadership podcast - where my guests share their inspiring stories to empower others! 

 

I currently live in the Netherlands and together with my husband Patrick, we have two young children - Joshua and Lilia and a dog - Spikey :).

I love spending time with my family, reading, cooking and baking.

About Woman in Sales and Leadership

In the past 10 years, the number of women in sales has grown by only 3%. 

And out of all sales leaders, only 11% are women. 

 

In my conversations with women, I discovered that there is still a lot of stigmas related to doing a sales role and many industries continue to be male-dominated.  

 

With limited training and coaching, developed for their specific skill set and needs, many women do not make it beyond the entry-level. 

 

Entering the leadership arena is even harder since there are fewer role models and sponsors that can lead the way. 

 

Women in Sales and Leadership is working to change this!

 

  • First, we enable companies to drive the success of their women employees by transforming the culture, training and mentoring opportunities. 

  • Second, we offer women a platform to plan their own development strategy and get access to on-demand training, coaching and mentoring.

About Sales Enablement Strategist

I started my first sales job when I was 17 and in my 20 years of experience, I meet and worked with hundreds of sales professionals from all over the world.

What I learned is that sales success depends on 3 Ps: Preparation, Planning, and Patience. At first, they might sound easy to get right but in fact, they are difficult to achieve. 

When I speak with many sales leaders and professionals that tell me they are overwhelmed by the amount of change and information that is coming their way. And most times all they can do is react and keep their head afloat. 

Having a clearly defined Sales Enablement Strategy can help bring order to the chaos. This is what we love to do and are passionate about!
